The CSU Marching Band is partnering with the St. Bernard (New Orleans) Parish project, the Rocky Mountain Sustainable Living Association, and the Fort Collins Musicians Association to sponsor a home rebuild for a displaced New Orleans family affected by the devastation of Hurricane Katrina.
The September 19th halftime show will be part one of the capstone event of this fundraiser. The Show will feature the CSU Marching Band performing alongside the Dirty Dozen Brass Band from New Orleans, during which fans will have the opportunity to text their donation to the effort. This featured group will also perform a show at the Aggie Theater downtown Fort Collins on the 19th (after the game).
All ticket proceeds from the Aggie Theater event, as well as corporate sponsorships and individual donor contributions, will be donated on behalf of the CSU Marching Band to the St. Bernard Project fund drive.
See Corporate and Individual Donor Packages under our 'event' section for more information. To make a donation (Colorado 501(c)3 non-profit), please contact christopher.nicholas@colostate.edu
